Coach Who?

Peg

Peg Robarchek is a spiritual coach, a writer, a walker, a sometime practitioner of yoga. A few of her favorite women in the world have called her a spiritual midwife, which is a phrase she cherishes because the term makes it clear that her true function as a coach is to witness the miracle while others give birth to their souls.

Peg grew up in Birmingham, AL. She left Alabama after three years at Samford University, the third largest Baptist university in the U.S., behind Baylor and Wake Forest. She finished her degree in English and Psychology at Florida State University.

Peg traveled the U.S., Canada and Mexico for a year, then settled in for two very long winters in Nebraska before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, 32 years ago.

Peg’s career path has included almost a decade as a newspaper editor and reporter and more than 20 years as a writer, ghostwriter, writing coach, novelist and editor. Her most recent novel, In the Territory of Lies, is now available on Amazon.com. She has been trained as a life coach and received a certification in 2006. Ultimately, Peg realized that life coaching was intrinsically a spiritual process, so she has studied spiritual direction at both the Shalem Institute and the Haden Institute. Peg has been privileged to share the  journey of more than three dozen women who wanted to change their lives and deepen their spiritual journey.

Currently, Peg is blessed with more friends than anyone deserves; the most incredible stepdaughter in the world; an extremely charming and handsome son-in-law; a cat named Miss Bailey who can relocate a loaf of bread from the top of the fridge to the floor without breaking a sweat; and a funky condo in a cool neighborhood of old hippies and tatooed youth.
